Marcello Barbato is an environmental engineer with nearly 20 years of international experience in biogas, biomethane, and circular economy solutions. He is the founder and CEO of Green Renewable Energy Consulting Ltd., a project development and advisory firm active globally.

Marcello began his career in Europe, where he specialized in the design, development, and commercialization of biogas projects. In 2013, he moved to Asia, taking on leadership roles in international business development and project management, contributing to the rapid growth of renewable energy initiatives in Southeast and South Asia.

In 2018, he founded Green Renewable Energy Consulting Ltd., with the mission of providing strategic guidance, technical expertise, and financial structuring to accelerate biogas and CBG development in emerging markets.
